How much is a replacement car key?
It depends on the car and the type of key, which is why we price it on the phone rather than pretending one number fits everything. Tell us the make, model and year and you get a fixed price before we set off. What we can tell you is that it is consistently well below main dealer rates, and there is no recovery truck to pay for on top.
I have lost every key. Can you still help?
Yes, and it is one of the jobs we do most. We generate a brand new key from scratch, cut it to your locks and code it to the immobiliser at the roadside. Your car does not move and you do not need recovery. Have your ID and proof the car is yours ready for the engineer, and we handle the rest.
Do I need to get the car to you?
No. The van comes to the car, wherever it is sitting. Driveway, roadside, work car park, supermarket or a locked compound if you can get us access. Everything we need to cut and programme the key is in the van.
How quickly can you actually get to me?
We reach 99.7% of call outs inside the hour. Traffic and distance move that a little at either end of the county, but you will be given a realistic time when you call, not an optimistic one.
Can you cut a key without the original?
We can. We read the code directly out of your door lock and cut a working key from that, so no original and no paperwork from the dealer is needed.
